Version 26.3 gives administrators and pricing teams clearer workflows, more flexible controls, and easier access to the tools and information they use every day.

Smarter Hierarchies & Automated Assignments

Hierarchies are moving into the Automations area with a redesigned three-pane layout that makes structures and assignments easier to manage. A new assignments rail supports multiple assignments and composite targets such as Item–Pricelist combinations, while updated tree interactions make it simpler to add, edit, reorder, and reparent nodes. Built-in validation helps prevent invalid hierarchy structures when nodes or entire subtrees are moved. New hierarchy automation streamlines assignment in two steps: entities or combinations are first matched to hierarchy nodes using configurable filters, then rules or price-column bundles can be assigned automatically based on those matches. Administrators can use AND and OR logic, include parent-node conditions, and follow live assigned counts from a dedicated Setup tab. Automated evaluation supports bulk and incremental updates, multiple node matches, and deterministic priority between sibling nodes. This provides a more scalable and predictable way to keep complex hierarchy assignments up to date.

Reliable, Flexible Price Data Extraction

A new price extraction flow makes it easier for external systems to retrieve pricing data without needing to know where each price column is stored. Dedicated endpoints support native and extension-based price columns, along with filtering, sorting, and metadata discovery. As part of this transition, the existing /api/items/ChangedPrices endpoint will be deprecated on 28 February 2027. Read the deprecation announcement for the full timeline and guidance on preparing for the change. Stable, paginated extraction uses cache snapshots to keep results consistent across multiple pages, even when source data changes during retrieval. Webhooks can trigger snapshot creation when relevant price tables change, enabling consumers to access an up-to-date dataset through the cache key included in the webhook payload. The Price Setup overview now shows all available price columns and provides quicker access to existing webhook configurations or the option to add new ones. Access rights, validation, and automatic cache expiry help keep the flow secure and manageable.

A Central Security Hub

The new Security Hub brings security administration into one dedicated area, accessible directly from the settings menu. Its overview provides predefined user and security charts with date filtering, while focused sections bring together login controls, roles, users, service accounts, and audit information. Administrators can now clone roles, assign all available rights in one step, and clone access from an existing user when creating a new account. Delegation is easier to manage with user autocomplete, and service accounts are separated from regular users with their own authentication controls.

Data Administration in One Place

A new Data Hub consolidates key data administration tools into a clearer, more accessible settings area. Imports, Data Admin, Extension Views, Calculated Columns, Custom Pricing Steps, and Data Sets are now organized together while retaining their existing functionality and permissions. The new Data Model explorer gives administrators a detailed view of object and non-object tables, with direct access to relevant settings, properties, associations, and automatically generated documentation. Extension Views also gain search, making it faster to locate the view you need.

A Refreshed Platform Experience

Version 26.3 introduces a visual refresh across key parts of the platform. The navigation bar now uses the new deep burgundy brand color, while the updated geometric Price Edge mark appears in the navigation, loading animation, and browser favicon for a more consistent identity. Existing administrator-defined favicon color preferences remain supported and are migrated to the new design, preserving customization while bringing the experience in line with the refreshed brand. The sign-in experience has also been redesigned to match the look and feel of the main Price Edge website, creating a clearer and more familiar start to every session.

Plus ... Bug Fixes and General Improvements

As always, this release includes numerous smaller fixes and behind-the-scenes enhancements that improve the stability, speed, and overall user experience of the platform. These updates may not be visible, but they play a crucial role in keeping everything running reliably and securely.

Rollout Schedule:

Staging environments: 21 July 2026
Production environments: 11 August 2026

We look forward to seeing how these updates simplify administration, strengthen your workflows, and make pricing data easier to manage. Stay tuned — and happy pricing!
