As part of the new price extraction flow introduced with Price Edge Version 26.3, we are announcing the deprecation of the /api/items/ChangedPrices endpoint. The endpoint will be fully disabled on 28 February 2027 and will no longer be available from that date.

This transition period gives teams time to identify affected integrations and move to the new price extraction flow before the endpoint is switched off.

Key Dates and Transition Process

Starting with Version 26.3: The endpoint will continue to function as normal but will include the following response header:

Deprecation: "2027-02-28"

This header is a reminder that the endpoint is scheduled to be disabled. We recommend monitoring for it in your integrations and beginning migration work as early as possible.

Final 14 days — 14–27 February 2027: During the final two weeks before shutdown, the endpoint will return random errors for 20% of requests. This behavior is intended to make remaining dependencies visible and alert users who have not yet completed their migration.

From 28 February 2027: The endpoint will be fully disabled and requests to it will no longer work.

Affected Endpoint

The following endpoint is included in this deprecation:

  • /api/items/ChangedPrices

What You Need to Do

If your integration uses this endpoint, review your API usage and plan to migrate before 14 February 2027. Completing the transition before the final 14-day period will prevent the deliberate intermittent errors from disrupting your integration.

Documentation and Migration Guidance

Replacement endpoint details and migration guidance will be published in the Price Edge developer documentation. Please check the documentation for updates as you plan your migration.

We recommend completing the migration well ahead of the shutdown date to ensure uninterrupted access to changed price data.
