PriceEdge was founded in 2014 by Frank Melander and Rickard Glamsjö with a simple mission: to help all pricing teams have access to a great pricing software.
They knew from experience that in pricing, as in life, you can always improve. So, they created PriceEdge around the idea that pricing strategies and logic must be able to adapt over time and not lock pricing teams into a specific way of pricing. Plus, it needs to be quick and easy to set up so companies of any size can benefit.
In the years since, their idea has gained traction and we've grown from a handful of people to many dozens, with offices spread across the globe.
After pricing everything from video conferencing solutions to laundry machines and training hundreds of pricing professionals for companies like Atlas Copco and Husqvarna as pricing consultants, Frank Melander and Rickard Glamsjö spotted a gap in the pricing software market.
In their combined 20 years of pricing experience, they hadn't found a price management tool catered to the needs of people doing the actual pricing. So, they decided to create their own. They teamed up with fellow co-founders Peder Larsson and Alex Szasz to create a Price Optimization & Management software that puts the needs of price teams first. The result is PriceEdge.
